Cookie policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what this site stores in your browser and why. In short: we do not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.

01What are cookies?

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), also store information on your device.

02What this site uses

This site does not set cookies. It only uses technical browser storage so that a few preferences work:

bylabs-theme
Remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode. Local storage; kept until you delete it.
bylabs-cookie-notice
Remembers that you have already seen the cookie notice. Local storage; kept until you delete it.
bylabs-contact-log
Stores the time of your latest form submissions to prevent spam. It contains no personal data. Local storage; renews itself.
bylabs-lang-transition
Enables the animation when switching languages. Session storage; deleted when the next page loads.
bylabs-idea
Carries the idea you type in "What do you want to build?" to the contact form. Session storage; deleted once used or when you close the tab.

This information never leaves your device, is not shared with third parties and is not used to identify you.

03Third-party services

Visiting the site does not load third-party services that set cookies: fonts and other resources are served from our own domain.

If you click a link to WhatsApp or a social network, that service may use its own cookies according to its policies.

04Why don't we ask you to accept cookies?

Since we only use technical storage for preferences you choose, we don't need your prior consent. We show you an informational notice the first time you visit the site.

If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will ask for your permission before enabling them and update this policy.

05How to delete this information

You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings, in the option to delete browsing or site data. You can also block it, although some preferences, such as the theme, will no longer be remembered.
